What People Are Saying About Kirk:

As I considered retirement, I was determined to find a successor who would represent me and constituents like me. Kirk White meets and exceeds all my criteria. He shares my progressive values, he has all the skills necessary to be effective in the Statehouse and he is, frankly, more talented than I at addressing the local needs of our district. I wholeheartedly support Kirk White and I plan to push our four-town Progressive Party committee to endorse him formally.

- Sandy Haas

Kirk brings more than ideals to this effort. He brings an ability to get things done. I own and operate a small business in downtown Bethel and have worked with Kirk on many initiatives to attract people into our downtown. He knows how things work and is respected by our local business community. I am impressed by his talent and ability to build coalitions among people of different interests and intentions. Through his many years of civic involvement, he has shown that he is a proven leader and innovator. His knowledge, skills and experience in finding creative solutions are the important qualities we need from our representative in Montpelier.

More Endorsements for Kirk:

The revitalization of Bethel has been his focus and I like the out-of-box thinking that is working so well there. I recently had lunch with him and I recommend taking the time to meet with Kirk and voice your concerns and discover what his vision is for our region.

- Kelly McDermott, Stockbridge, VT

Kirk’s exceptional ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals and issues has cemented his leadership position in building stronger and better communities. I feel confident that Kirk’s proven formula of vision and determination will be as effective on the State level as it is in a place he calls home.

- Sandy Levesque, Bethel Gilead, VT

I’m happy to endorse Kirk White for the Democratic nomination to the Vermont House of Representatives from the Bethel, Rochester, Stockbridge, Pittsfield District. Kirk is a native born and raised Vermonter, a son of the valley he seeks to represent. I met him when he was a teenager, and have come to know him over the years through his many services to our community. I know he’s intelligent, energetic, imaginative, moderate and reasonable. As a licensed acupuncturist, he is a small business owner. He understands business.

Kirk doesn’t just believe in community, he knows from experience that communities can work together to improve their situations. His impressive resume of community service and involvement includes President of the Bethel Business Association, President of the Bethel Area Rotary, Bethel Revitalization Initiative, Chair of the Bethel Democratic Committee, Justice of the Peace, friend of Envision Rochester and the White River Valley Players. Kirk has exciting ideas for our future, but his feet are planted on firm soil. He builds coalitions among people of different interests and intentions, an important quality in a legislator.

Kirk’s platform is too extensive and comprehensive for this one letter. (It’s available on Kirk’s website ) His positions are balanced and informed. For one example, I’m impressed with his stand on environmental protection as economic opportunity as well as preservation.

I urge my neighbors to vote for Kirk in the August 11th Democratic Primary. Mail Voting begins June 29, so there’s no need to risk your health and the health of others to vote. Simply request a ballot from the Town Clerk. I urge my neighbors as well to support Kirk in the November general election.
